Ninety-Seventh Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Infantry, 1862-1865 : typescript, 1967.

This collection consists of a carbon copy of Harsch's M.A. thesis on the 97th Indiana Regiment. The regiment served at Memphis, Vicksburg, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. It marched with Sherman to the sea then through the Carolinas in pursuit of Johnston. Topics include Grant's and Sherman's campaigns and recruiting practices. A critical bibliography is included.
